Isn't it funny how short weeks seem to always drag longer
than the normal 5 day week? It was especially long for
me as it was the last week before our holiday (<---
I like to pretend I am British sometimes) in Palo Alto, CA
to visit my sister M. To say I am so excited would be such an
understatement. I have never been to this part of the state and have
a feeling I am going to feel like I am coming home, knowwhatimean?
I seriously can hardly think of anything else but our trip but I will not
bore with you right now. But speaking of holiday, I just lied to you
#sorrynotsorry, I asked husband if he needed anything from the thrift store,
Target or Old Navy. His response? "Now, don't go crazy at Target."
Puhleaaassse.
Anyway, tonight, the husband and I are going to see our favorite band, Bloc Party,
perform live for the first time in Pittsburgh. They are British so they
do not travel much this side of the pond but when they have, they skipped
Pittsburgh and would go to Philthadelphia Philly instead. We have travled
there twice to see them, once in 2008 and then this past September.
Husband seems to think he is the reason they are coming to Pitt since he
tweeted them after the last show we went to asking them to come to Pitt.
Don't worry, I am letting him go ahead and think that.
Do you know of Bloc Party? I was first introduced to them during an
episode of The OC. BTW, I forget how cheesy and dramatic this show was.
But, husband re-introduced them to me when we first started dating.
They have so many great ones, but I think this one is my favorite!

Bloc Party - "Kreuzberg"
My favorite lyric is: "I have decided at twenty-five something must change"
They are incredible live so if you ever have the opportunity to see them,
I highly recommend it! I will post about the concert tomorrow:)
Also, as promised yesterday, below are my photos from
