Without further adieu,
It is seriously so simple and takes all of 10 mins to prepare (depending on what you want to add to the eggs).
What you will need:
12 pieces of bacon
8 eggs
How to:
line each muffin tin with bacon
fill each tin 3/4ths the way with whipped eggs
bake in oven at 350 for 30-35 minutes
The first time I made these I added kale, tomatoes and bell pepper. The last batch was made with kale, onion and pepperoncinis. You can add really whatever you want. Just think of whatever is in your favorite omelete. And personally, I believe the more the better. Anything but the kitchen sink, which is what I like in my Bloody Marys.
This recipe was made for a muffin tin with 12 individual tins so scale it accordingly.
The verdict:
LOVE! Husband was happy. I was happy. Just put them in your fridge (or freezer depending on how fast you plan on eating them) and you have 12 quick breakfasts to go! Cuts my mornings in half which is perfect for those early mornings when I find it extra hard to get out of bed:)
i should make these for my husband - he would love them!!
ReplyDeleteYES! And it is seriously so easy and simple. Like my husband said, and I think this goes for most men who at least eat meat, "anything is better when wrapped in bacon":)

ReplyDeleteI know, right! There are so many things on there that I would love to try but don't in fear it would go terribly go wrong. haha
DeleteJeez even I could do these! Too bad the bf doesn't like eggs. Weirdo.
ReplyDeleteTrust me, Erin. If I can do them, anyone can do them:) And if the boyfriend isn't a fan of eggs, too bad for him;) More for you!
