Today is one of those freak 55 degree days that hardly ever happen, but recently seem to only happen when I am sick.  Damn you, Mother Nature, damn you.  Anyway, I finally made it off my couch into the shower this morning and this song came on the Florence and the Machine Pandora station.  Reminded me of how much I love Lana and her album Born To Die

While jamming in my shower this song and it's lyrics took me back to Summers full of bare feet, sun-kissed skin, late nights with friends, crushes (to which some I am embarrassed to admit I ever had) and early mornings remembering the night before with my best friend. 

As much as I try to live in the present, I often find myself day dreaming of warmer days and sunshine.  So, Summertime please do hurry.  Sister needs a break from these gosh awful sicknesses.
