don't judge me but

... I do not understand the obsession with Pumpkin Spiced Lattes.  Or really anything pumpkin flavored for that matter.  

... my house still is not decorated as well as I would like it to be and we have lived here four years.

... I sat inside all weekend watching TV and crocheting even though it was most likely our last beautiful weekend of Summer-like weather. 

... I like Brangelina.  Always will. 

... my feet are so small that I can shop in the children's department and sometimes get the same shoes at a fraction of the price. 

... I watched Tommy Boy for the first time on Monday night.  On VHS. 

... I still own a DVD/VCR player.

... I had a glass of wine for my dinner last night.

tegan & sara {find beauty friday}

I have a bit of a confession to make today.  I enter giveaways on blogs.  I spend my Saturday mornings entering anything that someone is giving away that I deem worth my time, more than $25 and if it's something I would use.  It only takes me a few hours of my morning.  The husband works on Saturdays so it is not taking away from our time together.  That is what Sundays are for. phew, that felt good to get out. 

Anyway, about two weeks ago I got an email from Melyssa from The Nectar Collective letting me know I won the $130 to Amazon and $100 to Etsy giveaway she held on her blog.  I have won my fair share of these giveaways but it is always like Christmas morning when I get a notification saying that my time paid off.  Then while I was hanging out with my girlfriends, that same week, the husband sent me a message letting me know he won tickets to see Tegan & Sara through a local radio station WYEP.   The freebie gods were working in our favor. (he's not around to confirm it, but I think he played the lottery shortly after.) 

Despite WYEP forgetting to add us to their guest list, we had a great night in the city and listening to some live music.  Tegan & Sara put on one of hell of a show.  By far one of my favorite shows I have been to in a while.

confessions

These are my confessions in the form of whatever pops into my head... 

// I went for a 3 mile run this morning.  I almost didn't make it.  It was humid as hell.  And I promise I am not complaining.  Just not used to it.  

// You know what really ruffles my feathers?  When you pass someone on the sidewalk and they don't even look up or acknowledge your presence.  All I wanted to say was good morning.  Jeesh. 

// I am addicted to lemon fizzy water.  #cantstopwontstop

// If I was in a band it would be called The Trapper Keepers. 

// I'm over facebook.  The only reason I still have an account is to share my photos on my fanpage.  Otherwise I would have deleted it months ago. 

// Mmmmm coffee.  I cannot believe it took me over 30 years to discover you. 

// I hate to shave.  I get razor burn so easily that I am not really able to shave more than once a week.  

// On par with my last confession, I have thought about laser hair removal but I am terrified.  Have you ever done it before?  Thoughts?

// Today is my first confession session but I kinda like it.  Feels so good to get all of that off my chest;)
