Chapel Hill, NC

As I shared earlier, I went with my husband and in-laws to a wedding dahn down in Chapel Hill, NC.  I had never been to the area and was so excited to explore and take photos.

Although, I have only been to just a handful of large university cities, the University of North Carolina (in Chapel Hill) is absolutely gorgeous!  Please don't hate me for saying this Penn Staters, but it rivals the beauty of State College.  What has me sold is the warm weather:)

Like I also mentioned before, the weather could not have been more perfect.  Blue skies and no humidity with a slight breeze.  Can't ask for much better from NC late May!

I really didn't get the chance to walk around much our first day.  After we arrived we quickly headed to lunch then I quickly headed back for a few hour nap before the rehearsal dinner.
This is the one and only I got our first day.  I love large columns.  So southern!

Day two I felt much better after a good nights sleep and did a little more walking around.
Husband with his parents heading to brunch

Being the dedicated triathlon training he is, husband he went for a run our first day while I napped and happened upon the Coker Arboretum.  He took his mother here, again while I napped, then showed the rest of us the next day.  Beautiful!

Wouldn't this have been perfect for wedding photos?

Got lucky enough to be around while this guy was feeding.  "Hungry fella?  There ya go." (<---anyone get that movie reference?)

The trees were ENORMOUS!  And so pretty!

There's something about a waterfall.  No matter how big.

Love the path to the left

Gorgeous church with gorgeous windows.

What a beautiful city!  Hope to return sometime in the future.

As a side note, I will be away in Dublin weekend until Sunday then heading to Glasgow until the 19th to visit some friends with my sisters.  Tomorrow will be an afternoon full of packing, last minute details and hanging out with the husband.  I cannot wait to see a part of the world I have never been and share my pictures with y'all when I get back!

Hope everyone had a great weekend and has a great week!  Talk to y'all in a few weeks!
